Yomiuri Land and the Yomiuri Shimbun Tokyo Headquarters have announced that “PokéPark Kanto,” a newly constructed attraction inside Yomiuri Land located in Inagi City (Tokyo) and Kawasaki City, will officially open on February 5, 2026. This will be the first permanent outdoor themed facility created in collaboration with The Pokémon Company. Tickets will be sold by lottery on the official website starting at 6:00 p.m. on November 21. The first round of tickets covers the period from February 5 to March 31, and applications close on December 8.
“PokéPark Kanto” covers approximately 2.6 hectares and is divided into two areas: the forest area “Pokémon Forest,” which takes advantage of the natural terrain of the Tama Hills, and the town area “Kayatsuri Town,” where visitors can purchase merchandise and enjoy various attractions. Guests can encounter more than 600 Pokémon throughout the park.
In Pokémon Forest, visitors can stroll along a roughly 500-meter path, observing the movements and expressions of Pokémon such as Pikachu up close while enjoying an adventurous experience. Due to the large elevation changes in the terrain, entry is limited to visitors aged 5 and older.
Kayatsuri Town features a Pokémon Center, the Pikachu-themed attraction Pika Pika Paradise, the Eevee carousel Bui Bui Voyage, as well as parades and photo-op events featuring Pikachu and Eevee. There are also souvenir shops and themed food stands.
Beginning November 21, two types of tickets will be available by lottery:
-
Trainer’s Pass (from 7,900 yen for adults): includes access to both the forest and town areas, plus photo opportunities with Pokémon that appear on a rotating daily schedule.
-
Elite Trainer’s Pass (from 14,000 yen for adults): includes unlimited access to the forest area and one free ride on each of two attractions in the town area.
Ticket holders can enter PokéPark Kanto directly without purchasing a separate Yomiuri Land admission ticket. A “Town Pass,” which grants access only to the town area, will be sold separately at a later date.
