Amazon Studios has unveiled the brand-new poster for Fallout Season 2, which hides several iconic references. As many fans speculated, the upcoming season will focus on New Vegas, and this poster makes that clear. In addition, the streaming platform confirmed that new details about the show will be revealed during the Opening Night Live event at Gamescom on August 19.
All the main characters are featured on the poster: Lucy (Ella Purnell), The Ghoul (Walton Goggins), Maximus (Aaron Moten), and the iconic Dogmeat. The group walks together in a dramatic formation, with the faint outline of a city in the background. Earlier set leaks already showed multiple New Vegas landmarks, all of which are confirmed to appear in the new season.
Fallout Season 2 will premiere exclusively on Prime Video this December. Amazon Studios clearly has high hopes for the series, having already renewed it for a third season. In addition to the returning cast, Macaulay Culkin joins as a “brilliant but insane” character. Executive producer and showrunner Jonathan Nolan will also continue his involvement in Season 2.
As for the Fallout video game franchise, Bethesda continues to update Fallout 76, including new content inspired by the TV series. Meanwhile, Fallout 5 is in development—though fans will still have to wait some time for its release.
